“Threefold Balance” — hand-carved walnut form composed of three independent volumes held in quiet relationship.

It is a one-of-a-kind hand-carved walnut sculpture built around three separate yet connected forms — each with its own height, its own rhythm, its own presence.

I never begin with a sketch. I begin with wood — and I allow it to lead.

This piece emerged as a dialogue between three directions. Instead of merging into one, the forms remain distinct — standing side by side, holding tension, distance, and connection at once. They do not compete. They coexist.

I don’t carve wood. I carve what I feel — and the wood responds.

The spaces between the forms are not empty. They are part of the structure. Light moves through them, shadows gather and dissolve, and the sculpture shifts continuously depending on the angle. On one side, it reads as three independent bodies. From another, it becomes a single, condensed presence.

The surface is smooth and uninterrupted. No unnecessary gestures. Only the natural rhythm of walnut — its grain, its warmth, its internal movement shaped over time.

This is not decoration. It is a relationship held in material.

Presence in space

“Threefold Balance” is a freestanding sculpture — it does not require a base or support.

It works horizontally and vertically in perception, depending on placement. Set on a console, shelf, or low pedestal, it introduces structure without dominating the space. It stabilizes rather than fills.

The three forms create a quiet internal dynamic that changes throughout the day as light moves across the surface. It fits naturally into contemporary, minimalist, and Japandi interiors — especially where material, proportion, and calm composition matter.
