I don’t carve wood. I carve what I feel, and the wood responds.
I don’t begin with a final form in mind.
I make one decision — then let it reveal the next.
What seems to have reached its end can become a beginning.
I don’t erase what came before.
I don’t want a sculpture to reveal everything at once.
My discovery ends where yours begins.

The Artist
I work directly with the wood, without sketches or fixed plans. Each form develops through resistance, grain, weight, and the decisions that appear while carving.
