Virella
Virella — hand-carved walnut wood sculpture, emerged from movement — a gesture held somewhere between dance and wind.
Its form twists and softens at once, guided by an invisible rhythm, suspended between energy and stillness. There is no single direction here — only a continuous unfolding.
I didn’t plan this piece.
I carved intuitively, allowing the resistance and natural curves of walnut to lead me. Every line, every transition was shaped by hand — in the noise of tools and the quiet focus of breath. Slowly, the wood revealed this spiral-like presence — a form that feels almost alive, as if it could shift again.
What draws me most to “Virella” is its constant change.
From one angle, it holds tension. From another, it opens and releases. It never settles into one expression — it invites you to keep looking.
I never reproduce my work.
Each sculpture is created once, signed, and dated by my hand.
This piece has found its place.
My sculptures are not decorations. They are quiet moments, solidified.
