The form bends under an invisible weight, yet remains standing.
Not in resistance — but in quiet endurance.
There is tension in the curve, as if the sculpture responds to something unseen.
Yet the posture stays composed, balanced, present.
Strength here does not appear as rigidity.
It reveals itself in the ability to adapt.
The form was not planned.
I carve intuitively, allowing the wood to guide the process.
Each block carries its own structure, grain, and inner tension —
and the sculpture slowly emerges somewhere between movement and stillness.
Carved from a single piece of walnut wood, the form stands directly on its own.
It does not require a base — it settles naturally into the space around it.
The depth of walnut reveals itself through light — in tone, in grain, in movement.
The surface shifts as you move around it, offering a different presence from every angle.
“I don’t just carve wood. I carve what I feel — and the wood responds.”
